The development of apparel industry depends on intelligence and informatization

In China, apparel industry was flourished for many years. However, as labor costs rise year by year, the order volume is faced with the outward loss. So the key to reforming apparel industry is improving the Overall efficiency and capacity.

More than twenty years development of informatization, some digital subsystems are built in Chinese apparel industry, such as ERP System, Purchasing System, Material System, CRM System and Inventory Management system, which were built by different suppliers and in different eras. So they can’t communicate with each other very well; Which brings great problems to management of a company or a project effectively.

The information asymmetry in apparel industry causes many problems as well, for example:

a)Some fabric you have to search in the market/factory one by one, very easy to miss them;

b)The dyeing factory took inspection but while the garment manufacturer need to check the fabric again before sewing;

c)One of the fabric factories who got lots of inventory, someone needs it but cannot find it.

We say those resources always make huge waste of the supply chain.

However, if we have a platform to supervise and manage that all the data can be checked before R&D, fabric cutting, sewing etc. that can avoid lots of waste, lower the cost and greatly improve the operation/management.
